ElementCXI Development Board

The ECA-64 Development Board accelerates application development by supporting the direct execution on an ECA-64 by integrating an ECA-64 with 8 MB of SRAM, 2 MB of FLASH and an FPGA used for bridging the ECA to memory, peripherals and a host PCIe connector. The ECA-64 Development Board installs into an 8x PCIe slot of a workstation and, with the ECA-64 SDK, this turnkey platform allows a developer to code, simulate, debug and execute on ECA-64 hardware from high level concepts down to detailed implementation and optimization.

The PCI Express (PCIe) interface provides the ability to stream data to and from the ECA-64 via data sources within the PC or from/to external interfaces including HDMI, USB, Ethernet and RS-232.

The ECA-64 Development Board supports integration with other system components through a variety of industry standard and custom interfaces and is capable of operating in a standalone mode, independent from the host PC.  In this case, the ECA-64 Development Board is powered by a single external 5V (6A) power supply.  An expansion interface is available for connection to high bandwidth peripherals or a co/host processor.
