MTS Device Driver

Looking for self-motivated, team oriented engineer to assume ownership
to lead development effort for advanced API and driver interface
level creation spanning system level modeling to physical hardware
domains to support an advanced programmable hardware engine.
Qualifications:
-Very good communication skills and ability to work with
remote teams responsible for software and firmware designs and
development to be used in consumer multimedia appliance.
- Designing and implementing programs in C/C++ and assembly language
as required.
- Assisting in the preparation of software design requirements
and detailed design specifications.
- Assisting in the evaluation
of selected designs through testing/analysis and full documentation
of the results.
- Solid understanding of messaging, socket, and API interfaces,
ranging from internal device DMA message protocols to system level
PCIe control and data transmission for scalable communication.
- Knowledge of bus level protocols, high speed serial protocols,
and message based communication required.
Supporting development of the low level design and device drivers:Linux,
HW interface, Board support package (BSP), boot loader, device drivers
(USB, LCD,SPI, I2C, serial,...), Flash utility, RTOS experience,
debuggers, JTAG, ARM9 processors is a must, Motorola/FreeScale iMX
family processor, ARM RealView ICE and Trace tools, C and Assembly
code, power management, SW development for Battery operated devices.
