Senior MTS Multimedia Application Engineer

Looking for self-motivated, team oriented engineer to lead the development effort for multimedia algorithm implementation for a leading edge programmable hardware platform.

Qualifications:

- Very good communication skills and ability to work with remote teams

- Understanding of codec implementation process from concept to deployment

- Knowledge of CAD design tools is required. Hands on experience with CoWare SPD, Matlab, or FPGA design/DSP assembly code is preferred

- Experience with audio algorithms (AAC, MPEG), sound enhancement, surround sound, noise reduction, transmission buffering, and decompression  recovery desired

- Work toward the invention and prototyping of new algorithms and migrate them into the hardware base

- Experience in filter and EQ design

- Experience in adaptive and/or dynamics processing

- Experience in direct product development, configuration management, writing and maintaining production ready source code

- Experience with Professional audio, Musician and/or experience with Live Sound
 
- Embedded user interface software

- Real time operating systems

- Audio effects such as reverb, chorus, compressor, speech processing, etc.

- Good understanding of hardware realization and system level applications in mobile, networking, and consumer domains.

- Deep understanding of world wide audio standards such as BTSC, NICAM, EIAJ, SPDIF, SIF

- Instinctual knowledge of non-standard signals and various strategies employed to overcome them

- Understanding of current solutions in the market and their performance

Requirements:

Minimally requires BSEE/CS combined with 7+ yrs related
