EDUCATION: Master
of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer
Science, Engineering or an equivalent field.
EXPERIENCE: No
experience required.
DESCRIPTION: Participate
in the development effort for SDR algorithm implementation on a
leading edge programmable hardware platform. Involved with specification
and documentation. Translate standards into algorithm requirements.
Work with radio implementation process from concept to deployment.
Work with hardware as well as software architecture. Work with
RF front-end such as mini-circuit COTS and wireless communication
systems. Duties involve DSP and FPGA design, digital circuit design
and development. Participate in board development such as Lyrtech
SDR development platform. Work with programming data flow system
such as ECA64 and program with EL (elemental language). Utilize
simulation tools including the CoWare SPD, MATLAB and Simulink
as well as hardware language such as VHDL/Verilog, and high level
language including C and Assembly. Use knowledge of SDR systems
including OFDM, CDMA and FHMA, as well as digital modulation/demodulation,
frequency synchronization, and channel estimation are required.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Wireless telecommunications;
- Wireless standard such as Zigbee (802.15.4);
- Partial reconfiguration on FPGA, development tools such as
ISE, Synplicity, and Chipscope;
- Design hardware description languages such as Verilog/VHDL;
and
- High level programming language C, system design tool matlab,
and spw.
