Sr MTS Software Build Engineer

Looking for self-motivated, team oriented software build and release management engineer to enable development effort for an advanced programmable hardware engine.

Qualifications:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work with remote teams.

- Strong experience in QA and validation methodologies and best practices

- Ability to troubleshoot and find the root cause of multiple test failures

- Programming skills with Java, C++, Assembly, Ruby, Python, and Perl

- Maintain and run regression tests for multiple simultaneous branches

- Investigate nightly and ad-hoc regression test failures to troubleshoot the causal area

- Write detailed defect reports and verify fixes, Bugzilla or similar system usage a plus

- Reproduce and troubleshoot issues reported by other testers and programmers

- Work with the software team to verify that the software is ready for release

- Write and edit automated test scripts

- Create and execute test and validation plans

- Assist with writing other tests, as needed

- Sense of urgency and ability to execute multiple high priority tasks

- Organized, detail-oriented personality

- Knowledge of Windows and UNIX operating systems

Requirements:

Typically requires MSEE/CS combined with minimum of 5-7 years of related experience, or BSEE/CS combined with 7-10+ yrs related experience.
